All of us experience mild and natural hair loss everyday.  The average hair loss per day is at least 100 strands.  Natural hair loss is needed so that new and healthier hair strands can grow; natural hair loss, therefore, makes for a healthy head of hair.  However, if you are losing significantly more hair than what is normal, you may be suffering from a hair loss condition. 

In order to be sure if you are suffering from a hair loss condition, you should go to a doctor for a proper diagnosis.  Your hair loss condition may be of the permanent kind, which can either be an inherited trait or may be caused by other medical conditions.  Your doctor would also be able to determine what mode of treatment will be best for you.

Temporary hair loss, on the other hand, can be treated with simple home remedies.  Here are some of them.

MASSAGE.  Massaging your scalp makes the hair follicles stronger and stimulates circulation in the scalp and hair growth.  You can give yourself a scalp massage regularly or have somebody else, a masseuse or your partner, give you one.  You can also visit wellness stores or spas to get an electric hair massage.  Regular scalp massages do not only benefit your hair, but also make you feel relaxed.  

HOT OIL TREATMENTS.  Hot oil treatments are very beneficial to people who are prone to hair loss.  Regular hot oil treatments, at least three times a week, not only preventt hair fall, but can also cure minor scalp disorders.  You can get hot oil treatments at a hair salon or you can do this yourself at home.  There are plenty of ready-to-use hot oil treatments that you can purchase and use at home.  These contain oils of several herbs like sesame, olive, and coconut, but the most effective ones are those that contain essential oils like thyme and lavender.

ALOE VERA.  Aloe vera is a soothing and moisturizing extract that is a very popular ingredient in most beauty products.  It is also a very effective remedy for hair loss.  Aloe vera can be used as a hair loss treatments in three ways.  It can be applied as a shampoo, using fresh aloe pulp directly applied to the hair and scalp.  It can be a hair tonic used in combination with other herbs.  And it can be taken in as a drink in order for the body to absorb the nutrients faster. 

CINNAMON AND HONEY MIXTURE.  Another very effective hair loss home remedy is a cinnamon and honey mixture.  You can make a paste out of cinnamon powder, honey, and olive oil and directly massage this to the scalp and the roots of your hair before shampooing.  cinnamon and honey mixture helps strengthen the hair and scalp.

GINGER EXTRACT.  Ginger extract is a very effective aid in having healthy hair follicles and healthy hair growth.  Finely chopped ginger can be directly applied to bald spots as a hair loss remedy.  You can combine the ginger with fine lead powder to get better results and to reduce the odor of the ginger.
